New systems for staff recruitment, training and development

Over the past few months, Fondazione Bruno Kessler has been working on a major project to renew its digital tools, with the aim of enhancing people's experience throughout their journey within the Foundation. This initiative, which began more than a year ago, has involved a significant investment of time, expertise and financial resources, with the goal of making processes simpler, more integrated and better suited to support the Foundation's continuous growth.

The project goes far beyond replacing existing IT platforms. Before selecting the technological solutions, an extensive review and redesign of processes was carried out to simplify workflows, increase consistency and reduce procedural complexity. The objective is to create a more modern, intuitive and integrated digital experience.

The initiative focuses on three key areas:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding, to make the recruitment and onboarding process for new colleagues more effective and seamless.
  • Learning, bringing the FBK Academy just a click away, with easy access to up-to-date learning resources and training opportunities.
  • Growth, a dedicated platform to support professional development, strengthen role-related skills and foster talent.

Behind this project is a strong collaborative effort involving professionals with complementary expertise. The HR team led the review of processes and the definition of organisational requirements; the FBK Digital team managed the technological, integration and platform governance aspects; and the implementation partner Intelco provided specialised expertise in deploying the solutions and configuring the new systems. This close collaboration has enabled the teams to address organisational, technological and operational challenges together.

Over the coming months, the project will move into the implementation phase, with the gradual rollout of the new platforms. The transition will take place progressively and will be supported by information sessions, guidance materials and training initiatives, helping everyone become familiar with the new tools.
