Mostly used paid leave

Employees may use this leave (an exception compared to the provisions of the CCPL Collective Labor Agreement) within 3months from the day of the celebration rite for justified personal reasons, compatibly with
organizational and service needs.

Tests

Up to 8 days in the academic year may be granted for participation in exams that are part of the curriculum of courses aimed at obtaining legal degrees and professional certificates recognized by the public system in undergraduate and postgraduate courses, limited to the days on which tests are held.
Normally, FBK considers the September 1 - August 31 period as the reference dates for the academic year.
The number of days may be fewer if the employment relationship started during the year and/or the worker has a vertical part-time schedule.

What to do?
Enter on INAZ Portale Utente the “Permesso esami” event attaching a signed original copy of
certificate attesting that the test has been taken.

Bereavement

Three consecutive working days - per event - may be granted in case of death of spouses, partners, first- and second-degree relatives and first-degree relatives-in-law (parents, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, grandparents, daughters-in-law and sons-in-law, in-laws – including of partners). Days of leave must include the day of death and/or the day of the funeral.
If the death or funeral occurs on a non-working day (Saturday, Sunday, and holidays), the leave will be granted - in accordance with the above procedures – on the immediately following working days.

What to do?
Enter on INAZ portale utente the “Permesso lutto” event attaching the death certificate issued by the City’s Registrar of Vital Statistics.

Blood donation

On the day of the blood draw, the worker is entitled to take the whole working day off.
If, for health reasons, the donation was cancelled or was not completed, the medical staff shall issue a certificate, indicating the day and time, attesting to the missed or partial donation. In such a case, INPS will not grant the benefit for the day and therefore FBK will not recognize paid leave for
blood donation; the employee will then need to cover the day with another event (e.g., vacation, ROL, etc.) or report to work.

What to do?
Enter on INAZ portale utente the “Permesso donazione sangue” event attaching the certificateissued by the blood drawing facility.

Serious personal or family reasons

Employees are entitled to up to 10 working days of paid leave per year for serious family or personal reasons.
Days of leave may be fewer based on the employee’s vertical part-time schedule.
Serious reasons include leave of absence attributable to those specific situations that essentially result in a form of inability to perform work. Examples include but are not limited to: cases of bereavement not included among those described above, special care needs of family members such as child’s transition schedule for first days of daycare or kindergarten, care and/or nursing of relatives in need as long as documented by the general practitioner of the person receiving care or note by the hospital attesting to the need to provide care.

What to do?
Enter on INAZ portale utente the “Permesso gravi motivi personali e familiari” event attaching the document issued either by the patient’s primary care physician or by the hospital specifying the dates or period in which the family member needs care or other documents attesting to the serious personal or family reason.

Leave for specialist medical visits or leave for medical visits due to a serious disease
