Vertical and horizontal progressions

With a view to increasing the internationalization of its staff, the Bruno Kessler Foundation, aligning itself with the major international research centers, has adopted the tenure track tool aimed at identifying and offering a qualifying, motivating and structured path that is recognized and recognizable within the scientific community.

Within its organizational model, the Bruno Kessler Foundation contemplates various growth opportunities and career plans for its workers.

Alongside the opportunities for internal mobility - managed with ad hoc selection processes reserved for internal staff - there are special committees that assess the suitability of staff for possible career advancement during their career path (horizontal or vertical progressions). In particular, for research staff only, there is a contractually stipulated review time for fourth-ranking (R4) workers with seniority of more than three years in order to assess their suitability for possible advancement to the next higher contractual band (R3).
