Fondazione Bruno Kessler and the Trade Unions have agreed to extend the current Company Agreement on the Work Organisation Model until the new Agreement comes into force, following the negotiation process that will take place over the coming months.
The upcoming work will focus on further developing FBK’s welfare and wellbeing policies, also taking into account the elements that will emerge from the FBK@ease project and the survey on work-related stress. The new proposals will also be developed as part of the ongoing evolution of FBKcare, the Foundation’s integrated welfare and wellbeing model, with the aim of making the initiatives dedicated to people and the different dimensions of professional and personal life increasingly coherent and coordinated.
The extension therefore ensures continuity in the work organisation arrangements currently in place, while the consultation and negotiation process towards the new model continues.
Smart working
For staff who had already requested an increase in the number of smart-working days, the number of days in place as of September 2026 will be extended until the new Agreement comes into force, with no need to submit a new request. (To check the number of smart-working days in place as of September 2026, you can consult the Digital Employee File).
Only those who wish to change the number of smart-working days already requested and in place as of September 2026 will need to complete the dedicated web form. Any increase in the number of days through the Individual Reciprocity Agreement must be agreed with the relevant manager and requested for specific needs, such as work-life balance, sustainability, study/research or situations of vulnerability.
The same form must also be completed by staff joining FBK from 1 October 2026 onwards who wish to use a number of smart-working days higher than the standard amount provided for by the Agreement.
All staff are still required to sign the Individual Smart Working Agreement, which can be downloaded from the “Personal documents” section of the INAZ user portal. The duly signed document must be submitted via the Microsoft form by 31 October 2026. For new hires, the document must be submitted subsequently, according to the applicable onboarding timeline.
Please also note that all staff are required to read the Health and Safety Information for Smart Working pursuant to Article 22, paragraph 1 of Law No. 81/2017 and the Regulations on Remote Work carefully and comply with the provisions set out therein.
We invite you to read the Agreement in full at the following link to learn more about all the opportunities and measures provided for.
