The Foundation, together with the Kaleidoscopio Cooperative, in order to support the reconciliation of work and family life, is also offering for summer 2026 the opportunity to organize three weeks of summer activities at the Foundation’s premises in Povo for the children of FBK staff and PhD students funded by the Foundation.

These activities will take place during the following weeks:

Week 1: from June 29 to July 3, 2026

Week 2: from August 24 to August 28, 2026

Week 3: from August 31 to September 4, 2026

Week 4:  from September 7 to September 11, 2026 (to be confirmed)

The proposed format is structured as follows:

  • Co-design: Kaleidoscope will provide the educator staff while FBK will propose entertainment initiatives and workshops with the collaboration of researchers to work alongside the educator staff. All the activities will be in italian.
  • FBK will search within the community for skills and/or passions to make available for this initiative. In accordance with Article 12 of the work organization model agreement, the Foundation undertakes to value in the form of refreshments, incentives or benefits any contribution made in this context. Therefore, we are gathering willingness to organize the planned workshop activities over mornings and/or early afternoons. Those interested can write directly to [email protected].
  • Participants: children who are attending first-grade elementary school with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 participants (taking into consideration any requests for enrollment of related to children attending the last year of kindergarten and the first year of secondary school, giving priority to those who already have siblings enrolled in the elementary school).
  • Cost: the full fee is €150.00 for week for full-time participation and €125.00 per week for part-time participation. A 10% discount is applied for registrations covering multiple weeks and/or multiple children. The discount applies starting from the second week and/or the second child (discounted weekly fee: €135.00 full-time and €112.50 part-time). Registration fees will be collected directly by Kaleidoscopio, with payment made by the employee.
  • Meals: mid-morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack provided by FBK canteen.
  • Hours: drop-off between 8:00 am and 9:00 am pick-up between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm ( or 2:00 pm for those who choose the part-time formula)
