Michael Kevin Ntako Koungni and Roberto Doriguzzi Corin (DAISY Unit), in collaboration with and Domenico Siracusa (University of Trento), have been recognised with the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Artificial Intelligence Models and Systems Symposium (IEEE AIMS 2025) with the paper “CPAD: Constraint-Projected Adversarial Attack for Dependable Network Intrusion Detection”.
The paper presents CPAD (Constraint-Projected Adversarial Attack), a framework that allows cybersecurity analysts and practitioners to assess the robustness of their network intrusion detection systems against adversarially perturbed network attacks.
