FBK Science Ambassador II
The Bruno Kessler Foundation launches the second edition of the FBK Science Ambassador programme, a pathway dedicated to young talents in research, innovation and technology, designed to enhance communication and science outreach skills and to strengthen the connection between research and society.
After the success of the first edition, which involved 24 researchers from across all FBK centres, FBK Science Ambassador II aims to further expand the community of scientists capable of communicating the value of FBK’s research in a clear, engaging and accessible way.
The programme offers advanced training in storytelling, public speaking, social media and continuous learning, designed to strengthen and develop the Ambassadors’ communication skills.
Through this experience, Ambassadors will become both antennas, able to detect new communication opportunities, and megaphones, sharing FBK’s research outcomes and social impact, thus contributing to representing and narrating FBK both inside and outside the Foundation.
Their commitment will include participation in public events (such as festivals, schools, and media initiatives), the creation of outreach content, and an active presence within the community, nurturing an ongoing dialogue between research and society.
This commitment will be formally recognised through a Covenant of reciprocity, which values their role, continuous learning, visibility, and time contribution.
