Thomas Corradino and Jacopo Quercia won 1st and 3rd prizes, respectively, in the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award in memory of Emilio Gatti and Franco Manfredi – 8th edition, for doctoral theses in the following field: “Radiation Instrumentation for Fundamental and Applied Research” with the following theses:
“Development of monolithic active pixel sensors for radiation imaging” by Thomas Corradino and “CdTe and CdZnTe detectors and CMOS readout electronics for high energy resolution X-ray imagers with high photon flux capabilities” by Jacopo Quercia.
