On October 4, 2018, the Foundation obtained the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers certification in line with the standards of the European Charter for Researchers. This recognition rewards FBK's commitment to implementing policies that promote organizational well-being and an open and dynamic research environment, characterized by transparent selection processes and professional development and growth paths (read the article in FBK Magazine).
At the end of the first two years, in November 2020, an Interim Assessment Report was presented and the Action Plan was supplemented with new activities for the three-year period 2021-2023, which received positive feedback from the European Commission, confirming once again the Foundation's recognition.
Over the years, the People Innovation for Research Service has continued to implement and monitor the actions of the Action Plan, adding new ones in accordance with the Governance guidelines.
In November 2025, a delegation of auditors is expected to visit the Foundation to renew the certification.
