As already anticipated, the Foundation for the purpose of facilitating the reconciliation of the management of their children with the work activity proposes also for the summer 2025, together with the Cooperative Kaleidoscope, the possibility of organizing at the spaces of the Foundation in Povo three weeks of summer initiatives aimed at the sons and daughters of FBK staff and PhD students with scholarship of the Foundation. These activities will take place in the following weeks:
Week I: from Monday, June 30 to Friday, July 4, 2025
Week II: from Monday, August 25 to Friday, August 29, 2025
Week III: from Monday, September 1 to Friday, September 5, 2025
The format is structured as follows:
- Co-design: Kaleidoscope will handle the financial administration of registrations and provide educator staff, while FBK, in a reciprocal effort, will provide people willing to offer entertainment initiatives and research workshops alongside educator staff.
- FBK will search within the community for skills and/or passions to make available for this initiative. In accordance with Article 11 of the labor organization model agreement, the Foundation undertakes to value in the form of refreshments, incentives or benefits any contribution made in this context. Therefore, we are gathering willingness to organize the planned workshop activities over mornings and/or early afternoons. Those interested can write directly to [email protected].
- Participants: children who are attending first-grade elementary school with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 participants (taking into consideration any requests for enrollment of related to children attending the last year of kindergarten and the first year of secondary school, giving priority to those who already have siblings enrolled in the elementary school).
- Costs: the registration fee is €150.00 for each full-time week and €125.00 for each part-time week. There is a 10% reduction for multi-week and/or more than one child registration. The reduction will be applied starting with the second week and/or another child (discounted weekly rate of €135.00 for full-time, and €112.50 for part-time). Registration fees will be collected directly by Kaleidoscope through payment by the employees.
- Meals: mid-morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack;
- Hours: drop-off between 8:00 am and 9:00 am, pick-up between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm for full-timers and 2:00 pm for part-timers.
