In 2023, Fondazione Bruno Kessler set out to obtain the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security) certifications that ended in November 2024 with the formal achievement of both certifications.
The documents "Quality and Information Security Policy" and "Analysis of the Operational Context and Stakeholders" were adopted on April 30, 2024 by the Board of Directors with Resolution No. 11/2024 and updated on September 2025.
The certifications have been obtained by the Foundation for its internal organisation and the following research centres: Sensors&Devices, Digital Society, Augmented Intelligence, Digital Health&Wellbeing, Digital Industry, Sustainable Energy, Health Emergencies, Cyber Security. The latter and the Clean Room were already ISO 9001 certified.
